FDU Knights Athletics

2014: The junior captain of the Knights had yet another impressive season in 2014, as he was named to the New Jersey Collegiate Baseball Associations Division 1 Second Team and also the Knights' Team MVP... Was the team leader in both wins (3) and saves (6)...  Made 25 appearances, all in relief posting a team-best 2.93 ERA in 30.2 innings pitched... Broke the FDU all-time saves record after he earned his 17th career save against Lehigh (2/23)… Notched his first victory of the season against Morehead State (2/28) after coming on for 2.2 innings of relief surrendering one run on three hits and striking out one… Earned a save against NJIT (3/14) coming on for 1.1 innings of perfection… Threw a perfect 1.1 innings against Iona (4/23) to earn his fourth save of the season… Earned the Knights' first NEC victory over Central Connecticut (4/19) after logging 1.2 innings of scoreless ball… Earned a save after keeping LIU Brooklyn (5/02) off the scoreboard for 2.1 innings in a 8-7 victory…Earned his third win of the season against Mount St. Mary’s (5/18) after coming on for two innings of scoreless relief.

2013: Appeared in 22 games for the Knights posting a 1-1 record with four saves…Totaled 28.2 innings of work out of the pen…Allowed 16 earned runs on 31 hits and 21 walks…Struck out 19 opposing batters…Finished the season with a 5.02 earned run average.

2012: Named Second Team All-Northeast Conference as a relief pitcher and New Jersey Collegiate Baseball Association Division I Fireman of the Year after leading the NEC with 12 saves, setting an FDU single-season record... Did not allow a run on seven hits, with seven strike outs and only one walk, while allowing opponents to hit only .156 during his 12 saves... Posted a 2-2 record and a 5.20 ERA in 22 appearances, while throwing 27.2 innings and fanning 13 and holding opponents to a .240 batting average... Picked up his first save in his first career appearance, a 6-3 victory over Lehigh (2/26)... Recorded two strike outs and allowed only one hit over 3.1 innings of scoreless relief in a 3-3 tie with Lafayette (3/10)... Entered the game in the eighth inning at Siena (4/18) and picked his first career win in a 10-inning, 9-8 victory, after pitching 2.2 scoreless innings... After blowing a save, earned his second victory with 2.0 inning of work in the Knights' 8-7 extra-inning victory over Central Connecticut State (4/20)... Picked up a pair of saves at NEC regular season champion Bryant (4/28), as the Knights swept a doubleheader (3-1, 5-3), with the second save tying the single-season record... Set the new single-season record with a perfect innning in FDU's come-from-behind 9-6 victory over Mount St. Mary's (5/5)... Saved the Knights' NEC Tournament-clinching victory at LIU Brooklyn (5/11)... Pitched the final 3.0 innings of FDU's 11-inning, 5-3 season-ending loss to Monmouth (5/19) in the NEC Tournament after not allowing a run in the ninth and 10th innings...

Northern Lehigh: Earned three letters, while playing three different positions… As a junior, he was Honorable Mention All-League as both a pitcher and an outfielder… As a senior, he was Second Team All-League and First Team All-Area as a pitcher…
