Biography


2015:  Was named NEC and ECAC Player of the Week on May 4…Served as FDU’s primary catcher, while also seeing time at first base and designated hitter…Played in 43 games, including 42 starts…Posted a .276 batting average with 37 hits in 134 at bats…His 37 hits ranked fourth on the team…Slugged seven doubles and was second on the squad with four home runs…Drove in 21 runs and scored 26…Walked a team-high 21 times and posted a team-high .405 on-base percentage…Slugged .418 on the season…Posted a .960 fielding percentage with 212 putouts, 29 assists and just 10 errors…Threw out 27.8% of attempted base stealers...Was charged with just four passed balls on the season…Had 11 multi-hit games on the year…Season-high for hits in a game was three, which was done on three seasons, including twice during FDU’s series with LIU Brooklyn (May 1-3)…Was named NEC/ECAC Player of the Week after finishing the LIU series with nine hits, three walks and a hit by pitch to reach base 13 times in four games, also had six runs scored, three RBI and a home run.

2014: Appeared in 46 games (41 starts) for the Knights at both first base and behind the plate... Hit .271 (38-for-140) with an on base percentage of .335, and slugged .336… The Knights co-captain collected six doubles, one homerun, and 25 RBI in 2014.  Had 12 multi-hit games… Was 2-for-3 in a win over Morehead State (2/28) with an RBI double... Had a monster day at the plate in a win against NJIT (3/14) in which he was 3-for-5 with three runs scored, four RBI, and hit his only homerun of the season... Later on in that weekend in a win against Patriot League member Lehigh (3/15-16) he went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and three RBI... In the series finale with nationally ranked Seton Hall (3/23) went 2-for-4 with one RBI... In a win over NEC competitor Wagner (4/12) he went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored... Went 3-for-3 in an NEC victory over Central Connecticut (4/18) with three RBI... Was 2-for-5 with one RBI and two runs scored in a NEC series opening victory over LIU Brooklyn (5/2)... Went 2-for-4 with one RBI in the NEC season finale at Mount Saint Mary’s (5/18)... In NEC play he hit .312 (24-for-77) with a team leading .365 on base percentage. 

2013: DNP (Injured)...

2012: Named to the New Jersey Collegiate Baseball Association Division I All-Rookie Team after appearing in 41 games behind the plate, including 36 starts... Hit one home run, which broke a 8-8 tie in the 10th inning at Siena (4/18) to give the Knights a 9-8 victory, collected 17 RBI and scored 15 runs, while hitting .230... Was solid defensively, making only one error and throwing out 15 runners trying to steal... Collected four multi-hit games... Scored two runs and picked up his only stolen base of the season in a 6-3 win over Lehigh (2/26)... Fell one home run short of the cycle for his only three-hit game of the season, while scoring a career-high three runs, in a 7-6 loss at Lafayette (3/9)... Had two RBI and scored a run in FDU's 15-7 loss at NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 finalist St. John's (3/14)... Collected two singles, one RBI anad one run scored in 8-6 win over Northeast Conference champion Sacred Heart (3/30)... Picked up two more singles and scored two more runs in 12-7 win over Central Connecticut State (4/20)... Accounted for all three runs with with a two-run double and a run scored in the Knights' 3-1 victory at NEC regular season champion Bryant (4/28)... Had two hits, including a RBI single, which tied the game at two in the fourth inning, in FDU's 11-inning, 5-3 season-ending loss to Monmouth (5/19) in the NEC Tournament...

Fayetteville-Manlius: Earned three letters as a catcher… Was named First Team All-League all three seasons he played… As a senior, hit .396 with five home runs and 20 RBI’s… Also played golf for two seasons…
