HACKENSACK, N.J. - FDU announced on Wednesday the launch of a female mascot to join the famous Knightro. A contest will be held among FDU's student-athletes to name their furry supporter. 

The mascot to be named later will make her first appearance at FDU's new student-athlete orientation on August 22, 2026.  Fans can expect to see updates on FDU's social media pages in the coming months. 

Name suggestions for the mascot are now being received on the Knights' Instagram page.
