HACKENSACK, N.J.- After a successful fall, the FDU women's tennis team hopes to keep momentum rolling in the spring. Last Spring, the Knights took home an NEC Championship, and secured a trip to the NCAA tournament.
Returning for the Knights are 2025 All-Tournament Team members Yelena Kim and Katsiaryna Kostisina, alongside reigning coach of the year Alex Cole. FDU also brought in young talent with first year standouts Sophia Fredericks-McKee and Oleksandra Ovsiienko.
The Knights begin spring action in the first state, taking on Delaware on February, 1. Their opening stretch continues with critical dual matches at Army on Feb. 6, and Drexel on Feb. 13. Both of whom FDU competed against in the Fall segment of their schedule.
NEC play begins at SFU on Feb. 15. The Red Flash were the runner up in last year's conference tournament.
The end of March sees FDU have their first home match, which kicks off a four match home stand. NEC foes Binghamton and Chicago State visit the Knights on March 28 and 29 respectively. St. John's is the next team the Knights play host to on April 1, followed by NEC rival Le Moyne on April 2.
To conclude their season, the Knights play April 9 at Temple, before the NEC Championships begin on April 16, and conclude April 19.
