BRIDGEWATER, N.J.- The FDU Knights were unanimously picked to repeat as women's tennis champions in the NEC Preseason Coaches Poll. Last season was the first FDU championship victory since 2016, and first under head coach Alex Cole
The Knights return most of their squad from last season, including Tournament MVP Yelena Kim and fellow all tournament team member Katsiaryna Kostsina. Additionally, FDU made key additions with freshmen Oleksandra Ovsiienko and Sophia Fredericks-McKee.
McKee finished her fall with an 11-5 record, while Ovsiienko ended her fall with a 10-6 finish. Ovsiienko additionally qualified for the ITA Masters Championship after taking home the top doubles finish at the Naterentals.com Binghamton Invitational.
