Women's Basketball Welcomes Chicago State to Hackensack

HACKENSACK, N.J. – FDU women's basketball (22-4, 13-0) will continue their NEC schedule by playing host to Chicago State (8-18, 7-6) on Thursday night in Hackensack.
 
THE BASICS
LAST TIME OUT
  • The Knights are coming off of an impressive road win over CCSU on Saturday February 14.
  • Madlena Gerke led the charge in the Knights' latest win, scoring 18 points on six threes. Gerke has been red-hot lately, averaging 16.3 PPG in her last three games.
  • FDU has won 14 straight games, the eighth-longest active win streak in the nation.
LAST TIME AGAINST CHICAGO STATE
  • The Knights and Cougars last faced off on January 8th in Chicago.
  • FDU picked up a big win in the last meeting, defeating Chicago State 91-64.
  • It was a team win for the Knights, as six different players scored in double figures.
SCOUTING THE COUGARS
  • Chicago State enters the match-up with a 7-6 record on the season in NEC play.
  • Keona McGee leads the charge for the Cougars entering Thursday. McGee is averaging 14.4 PPG in conference play this season.
  • The Cougars have been playing some stellar basketball as of late, winning four of their last five games as they head into Hackensack.
