Knights Host Two Games in Hackensack

HACKENSACK, N.J. – FDU men's basketball is once again set to host two home games this week. The Knights will take on Saint Francis U on Thursday, before hosting Central Connecticut on Saturday.

LAST TIME OUT
  • FDU finished a 2–0 week with a 55–52 win over Mercyhurst, improving to 4–2 at home in NEC play
  • Taeshaud Jackson recorded his second straight double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds, shooting 6–7 from the field and 4–4 at the line
  • Jackson scored 12 second-half points, including four straight late to give FDU a 53–52 lead it held
  • He now has 11 games this season with 10+ rebounds and averages 10.3 points and 8.5 boards per game
  • The first half featured 11 lead changes; Mercyhurst led 30–28 at halftime
  • FDU opened the second half on a 15–4 run to take a 43–34 lead, its largest of the game

  • FDU outscored Mercyhurst 32–18 in the paint and won the rebounding battle 35–23 (11 offensive)
