THE STORY
FDU started the game on the right note in front of the home crowd, as the Knights jumped out to a 16-6 lead by playing with pace, and capitalizing off of Skyhawk turnovers. The Knights shot the ball at a high clip in the first frame, ending the quarter going 9-for-13 from the floor, which gave them a 20-11 lead after the first 10 minutes.

The Knights would then press the accelerator in the third frame, as FDU poured in 23 total points in the third, going 8-11 from the floor. FDU was also able to live up to the billing as one of the nation's best defenses, as Stonehill only mustered two made baskets in the third quarter, going an ice cold 2-16 in the third quarter. FDU was able to maintain the big lead into the fourth quarter where the Knights cruised over the finish line to a 78-54 victory for their 10th win in a row.
