- FDU rolls into this match-up sitting atop the NEC, with a 6-0 start to conference play.
- The Knights enter the game with the number five scoring defense in the country, allowing just 53.3 PPG.
- FDU is coming off of a thrilling 59-58 victory in their last time out against LIU.
- Ava Renninger scored 15 points in the win, including the game-winning layup with seven seconds to go in regulation.
