FDU and CCSU Set to Battle on Thursday Night

HACKENSACK, N.J. – FDU women's basketball (15-4, 6-0) will host Central Connecticut State (0-17, 0-6) in a Thursday night NEC match-up.

LAST TIME OUT
  • FDU rolls into this match-up sitting atop the NEC, with a 6-0 start to conference play. 
  • The Knights enter the game with the number five scoring defense in the country, allowing just 53.3 PPG.
  • FDU is coming off of a thrilling 59-58 victory in their last time out against LIU.
  • Ava Renninger scored 15 points in the win, including the game-winning layup with seven seconds to go in regulation.

  • CCSU enters the match-up seeking their first win of the season.
  • Senior forward Lucia Noin leads the way for the Blue Devils, leading the team in points (13.2), rebounds (6.0), assists (2.4), and steals (1.8).
  • CCSU was picked to finish fifth in the 2025-26 NEC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
  • The Blue Devils are led by Kristin Caruso, in her first full season as head coach of the program.
