KANSAS CITY, MO – FDU men's soccer has been ranked eighth in the latest iteration of the United Soccer Coaches' Northeast Region Poll.

The Knights re-enter the rankings after being ranked as high as six during the early stages of the season. FDU found themselves at the eight spot after an impressive stretch of play, which featured a big 1-0 win over Ivy League member Columbia.

FDU is also coming off of a hard-fought 3-2 loss at Rutgers, in which the Knights were level with the Scarlet Knights until the waning minutes of the game. 

Two other NEC members found themselves ranked in the poll. LIU sits at fourth, and New Haven trails the Knights in the nine spot.

FDU is back in action on Sunday, September 28, when they kick off conference play. The Knights travel to New Britain, Conn. to face off against CCSU at 12:00 p.m. Coverage will be available on NEC Front Row.
