INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA released the 2023-24 NCAA Division I Academic Progress Rate (APR) for all Division I institutions on Tuesday afternoon. 12 of FDU's varsity programs achieved perfect APR marks in 2023-24.
The 12 programs that achieved perfect APR marks are baseball, men's golf, men's soccer, women's basketball, women's bowling, women's cross country, women's fencing, women's golf, softball, women's tennis, women's track and field, and women's volleyball.
Men's and women's cross country, women's fencing, women's golf, women's tennis, women's track, and women's volleyball recorded perfect APR marks for the four-year cohort beginning with the 2020-21 academic year.
Each academic year, every Division I school calculates its Academic Progress Rate (APR) using a standardized formula. Scholarship student-athletes can earn up to two points each term—one for staying academically eligible and one for staying in school or graduating. For schools that do not offer athletic scholarships, recruited student-athletes are tracked instead.
