HACKENSACK, N.J. – The FDU women's tennis team is headed to Virginia. The Knights are set face the #7 Cavaliers in the first round of the NCAA Regional on May 2. The bracket was revealed during the NCAA Women's Tennis Selection Show on Monday evening.

The time of the Knights' clash with Virginia is TBA but will be held Virginia Tennis Complex at the Boar's Head Sports Club this Friday. It is the fourth time FDU will face the Cavaliers in the NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championship.

FDU captured their seventh NEC Championship back on April 19 when they defeated Saint Francis 4-1 in the conference final. The victory earned FDU's fifth trip to the NCAA tournament and their first since 2016.

Joining the Knights and Cavaliers in Virginia are Illinois and Arizona. The Wildcats and Illini will also square off on May 2. The winners of these matches will play on May 3.
