NORTHRIDGE, CA – FDU softball (4-9, 0-0) dropped their final game of the CSUN Champions Classic to Montana by a score of 6-0.
The Knights struggled to get the offense going in the Sunday afternoon affair. FDU was only able to scratch across four hits. Montana used a big second-inning rally to build a 4-0 lead, and controlled the game from there.
For the second day in a row,
Brooklyn Shroyer came out of the bullpen to help the Knights. Shroyer pitched 3.2 innings out of pen, allowing just three hits and striking out four.
The Knights finish the CSUN Champions Classic 2-3.
