ORLANDO, Fla. - FDU women's tennis Florida trip came to a close with a victory against Bryant on Thursday morning, 5-2.

The Knights fell behind in the match early, dropping the first and third flight, while picking up a solid win at second doubles. Alena Kubanova and Anastasia Lim combined for a 6-2 win in the second flight. The pairing of Namie Isago and Valentina Silva dropped first doubles 0-6 and the third doubles team of Ann Kato and Katsiaryna Kostsina fell 3-6.

Namie Isago fought through a marathon of a match in the first flight, picking up a crucial victory 3-6, 6-4, 6-3

At second singles, Anastasia Lim dropped a narrow first set 5-7, before dropping the second 2-6.

Alena Kubanova picked up her second win of the week, winning 6-2, 7-6 (8-6).

Valentina Silva grabbed the Knights first win at fourth singles, 6-4, 6-3.

Katsiaryna Kostsina provided some insurance, winning fifth singles 6-3, 6-4.

Ann Kato logged her third win of the spring while sealing the victory for FDU, 7-5, 6-4.
