BRIDGEWATER, N.J. – The NEC Women's Golf Preseason Coaches Poll was released on Thursday afternoon. FDU finished with three first place votes and came it at second in the poll. The Howard Bison were picked as the preseason favorites.
FDU is one of the more experienced teams in the NEC. Graduate student
Anete Adul returns to the fold for
Rob Warren after missing her senior season with an injury. Adul will join a lineup of
Apichaya Chirakunakorn,
Kaitlyn You and
Alexandra Malikova, all of whom finished in the top 20 of last year's NEC Championship.
The women open their spring season at the Rivertowne Invitational on February 16 in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
