Men's Tennis Picked Second in NEC Coaches Preseason Poll

BRIDGEWATER, N.J. – The Northeast Conference released their men's tennis coaches preseason poll earlier today, with the Knights tied for second and receiving one first place vote. Reigning NEC champions Binghamton received three first place votes to secure the number one spot, while LIU tied with the Knights at second. Saint Francis, Le Moyne, Stonehill and Wagner rounded out the poll.

The Knights are led by first-year head coach Alex Cole, an FDU alum.

The Burgundy and Blue are coming off an impressive 2024 campaign, where they finished 13-7 on the season and narrowly lost to Saint Francis in the NEC Championship semifinals.

Despite losing a key player in Arjun Sriram, the Knights tack on four new additions in Benjamin Wrann, Nate Roberman, Arya Prabhu and Tze En Gareth Ong.

Men's tennis returns to action on February 7, as they head to Annapolis to face Morgan State and Navy in a weekend series. Then traveling to NJIT and Queens, the Knights will return home to open up conference play against Stonehill on February 23.
