GAME STORY

Things started well for the Knights at the Moody Center. Eric Parnell connected on two threes in the first 130 seconds which helped the Knights build a 10-2 lead. The Longhorns responded with a 12-0 run to get the home crown into the game.

The Longhorn lead steadily grew throughout the remainder of the first half. They made 14 trips to the free throw line and scored 22 points in the paint. The Knights struggled from the field as they entered the break down 43-24.
