PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- Day one of the women's ITA Regional competition kicked off today at Penn. The tournament will continue until Tuesday, Oct. 14.
Four Knights competed in the qualifying draw as they fight for an open slot in the main draw. FDU had three players win matches in the inaugural round, with Yelena Kim advancing to the third round of the bracket, after securing victories in her first two matches.
Kim's two victories in the qualifying draw secure her a spot in the main bracket, where she will join Anastasia Lim. Lim already has a spot in the main draw for the Knights and will play later this weekend.
