HACKENSACK, N.J. – Fans will have their first chance to see the 2025-26 FDU men's basketball team in action next Saturday in Hackensack. The Knights announced today that their eighth annual Rich Conrad Burgundy and Blue Scrimmage will take place on October 11 at 4 p.m. inside the Bogota Savings Bank Center.

Admission to the intrasquad scrimmage is free. FDU's 12 newcomers will all be in uniform for the first time as Knights.

A member of the FDU men's basketball team from 1972-75, Richard Conrad's name can be found throughout the Knights' record book. At the end of his three-year career, he ranked first all-time with 1,174 points. At the time of his induction, he still ranked 11th in scoring and eighth with 420 career field goals. During his career Conrad earned three First Team All-New Jersey Team selections and as a senior was named FDU's Most Outstanding Male Athlete. He was inducted into the FDU Hall of Fame in 2022.
