BRIDGEWATER, N.J — The Italian duo of Angela Marchetto and Alessia Zampieri make it back-to-back weeks, being named NEC/Molten Defensive Player of the Week and NEC/Molten Rookie of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.
Marchetto earned her second NEC/Moltern Defensive Player of the Week and Prime Performer honors after her standout performance this past weekend. The sophomore middle blocker tallied 11 blocks and 7 kills, hitting .350 and averaging 1.375 blocks/set. 
In addition to Marchetto, Zampieri made it a four-peat, earning NEC/Molten Rookie of the Week after helping lead the team to an upset over undefeated Saint Francis Saturday afternoon. On the weekend, the sophomore had 21 kills and 10 blocks across eight sets, hitting .264 and averaging 1.25 blocks/set.
The Knights head to Syracuse on Wednesday October 29 to take on Le Moyne in a midweek conference match up at 6 p.m.
