BRIDGEWATER, N.J. – FDU men's soccer senior Arnau Rabassa Guillamon was named the NEC Co-Player of the Week on Monday afternoon. It is the second time this season Rabassa Guillamon has received such an honor.
The Knights forward receives the honor following a dazzling game in FDU's 5-0 win over Stonehill on Sunday, October 19. Rabassa Guillamon recorded a brace in the blowout victory.
Rabassa Guillamon currently is tied for second place in the NEC in both goals (5) and points (12). The tie is held with his own FDU teammate in Luke Ayaz.
Rabassa Guillamon is also the leading goal and point scorer on the NEC's top offense. The Knights lead the conference in goals (27), assists (25), and points (79).
FDU has surged to a 4-0-1 record in the NEC, good for second place in the conference table.
Rabassa Guillamon was also named an NEC Prime Performer for his efforts on the week. He was joined by teammates Takuto Nishide and Jaime Barbero on the Prime Performer list.
The Knights will be back in action on Sunday, October 26, when they travel to Loretto, Pa. Kickoff between the Knights and Red Flash will come at 3 p.m.
