HACKENSACK, N.J. - FDU (6-12, 2-1) suffered their first NEC loss of the season Sunday afternoon at the hands of Saint Francis U (7-11, 2-2). Despite a 24-point double-double from Jo'el Emanuel, the Knights fell 75-71.  

FDU celebrated former head coach Tom Green today. The winningest coach in program history was honored in a halftime ceremony, where his banner that will hang in the rafters of the Bogota Savings Bank Center was unveiled. Hundreds of alumni gathered for the celebration.  

Emanuel's 24 points are a season high. The junior forward is now averaging 15 points per game in conference play. He complemented his scoring output with ten rebounds. Emanuel played all 40 minutes in the loss.  

Poor shooting marked this effort for FDU. The NEC leaders in points per game were held to 21-65 from the field and 6-30 from deep. Dylan Jones, the league leader in three-point field goals, knocked down three triples.  

FDU led 27-26 at halftime and the lead grew to five early in the second half. However, an immediate 7-0 Saint Francis U run put the Red Flash in the driver's seat. The Knights tied the game shortly after but were never able to regain their lead.  

With three minutes to go, the Red Flash pushed their lead to 11. The Knights made things interesting with a late 7-0 spurt. Free throws from Emanuel cut the lead to two with under a half minute to play. Saint Francis U knocked down their free throws and sealed the game.  

Terrence Brown finished with 15 points.
