SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The FDU Knights (4-2-4, 0-0-1) took on the Le Moyne Dolphins (3-1-4, 0-0-1) resulting in a 2-2 draw.

The Knights controlled the first half with two goals from
Kevin Leonhard and
Nk Tima.

In the 10
th minute, Leonhard scored the first goal for the Burgundy and Blue from close range. The senior forward booted the ball in the top center of the net past the diving Dolphins goalkeeper to put the Knights up 1-0.

In the 26
th minute, Leonhard found Tima off a corner kick. The graduate student defender headed the ball in for the second goal of the day for FDU. Leonhard was credited with the assist.

Despite the high energy closing the first half for the Knights, Le Moyne found energy in the break. The Dolphins scored two goals to knot the game within ten minutes of the start of the second half.

"Today was a good battle on the road against a strong Le Moyne team," said head coach
Jaymee Highcock. "We started the game really well and scored two good goals from set pieces.  Unfortunately, a decision went against us in the start of the second half and it gave Le Moyne some momentum. Overall, it's a point gained and gives us a good platform to build on for CCSU next weekend."
