TEANECK, N.J. – The FDU Knights administration will be honoring the newly upgraded Naimoli Family Baseball Complex on Friday, April 19 before FDU takes on Central Connecticut State at 3 p.m. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will mark the official unveiling of this cutting-edge facility, setting the stage for an exciting era of FDU baseball.
FDU President, Michael Avaltroni, will be cutting the ribbon prior to Friday's baseball game against Central Connecticut and will throw out the honorary first pitch on this monumental day.
"I'm thrilled to invite FDU baseball fans to join us for the re-dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new and improved Naimoli Family Baseball Complex. The unveiling of this recently completed state-of-the-art facility is yet another example of FDU's commitment to excellence in athletics. The Naimoli Family Baseball Complex represents a landmark achievement of the ongoing commitment of FDU to provide its student-athletes with high-end facilities. Designed to meet the demands of collegiate baseball, this field embodies innovation, quality and excellence in every aspect of its design and construction.
Both the ceremony and the game are open to the public. Friday's contest marks the start of crucial three-game set for the Knights as they host the reigning NEC Champions.
