STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – FDU women's tennis headed back on the road to take on Wagner in their third conference matchup of the spring season. It was a very successful night for the women, as they took a commanding 6-1 victory over the Seahawks. The Knights now sit at 3-0 in conference with only two more NEC matchups to play. 

The burgundy and blue only lost one match, courtesy of Wagner's Tara Dakic who defeated Alena Kubanova 7-5, 6-3 in singles one. Reigning NEC Rookie of the Month Katsiaryna Kostsina saw her fifth and easiest victory of the season as Wagner took a loss by default. Doubles duos Anastasia Lim/Namie Isago and Gauri Bhagia/Alena Kubanova remain undefeated in conference doubles as they each took home another dominating win.
 
The Knights return to action on March 2nd and 3rd, heading to Annapolis for two days of action against Navy and Towson. First serve against Navy is set for 4:30 p.m. at the Brigade Sports Complex.
