STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Men's tennis headed back on the road to take on Wagner in their third conference matchup of the spring season. It was a dominate night for FDU, who did not lose a match and took home their second conference victory of the season with a commanding 7-0 sweep.
Sophomore
Jorge Alonso-Cortes saw his first NEC singles action as he took a 6-4, 6-1 win over Wagner's Sebastian Dobson. Freshman and recent NEC prime performer
Tauras Mickus won in an impressive 6-0, 6-2 match against Aryan Gupta. On the doubles side, the story was all Knights as each pair took home a 6-1 victory over their opponents.
The Knights return to action on the road, traveling to Philadelphia for a weekday matchup at Temple. First serve is set for 11:30 a.m. at the Hecht and Hamlin Tennis Centers.
