TYSONS, Va. – The Knights continued their three-game series at Georgetown which resulted in a 7-2 loss for FDU. With this loss, the Knights drop to 1-8.
FDU allowed 12 hits while walking three batters and striking out two.

Joey Kosowsky started for the Knights pitching a solid six innings only allowing three runs off 27 batters faced.
Jake Simon came in out of the bullpen in relief for two innings.
The Hoyas struck first in the first inning putting up one run. They were able to follow up in the second and third innings with two more runs to jump to a 3-0 lead.
The Knights found answers in the fifth inning scoring two.
JR Bozek found a gap in right field to get the Knights on the board plating
Justin Sierra. With heads up base running, Bozek stole second and
Anthony Chiappetta was able to score off a throwing error. This inning accounted for the Knights only two runs of the day.
Georgetown added insurance runs in the seventh and eighth inning with four more runs.
The Knights ultimately fell to the Hoyas 7-2.

The Knights return to action on Sunday, March 3 to close their series against Georgetown at Capital One Park. First pitch is set for 1 p.m.
