ORLANDO FLA. – Men's tennis continued action in Florida as they took on Morgan State in an afternoon matchup at the USTA National Campus. The Knights won three singles matches and one doubles match but were not able to pull out a win against the bears, losing 3-4. Doubles partners
Gryffin Minor and
Tyler Crook took the sole win, defeating Kondwani Patterson and Tezas Parmr, in a dominating 6-0 fashion. On the singles side, Minor continued his successful night with a commanding 6-3, 6-1 win over Makkijha Brown. Freshmen
Tauras Mickus and
Asaf Schwartz also finished the night with a win, defeating their opponents in straight sets.
The Knights return to action tomorrow (03/14) in their final matchup of the Florida run, taking on Lewis at 1 pm.
