ORLANDO FLA. – Men's tennis finished their road series in Florida with a dominating 7-0 win over Lewis earlier today. The Knights had an impressive day, only dropping one doubles match courtesy of Oliwer Wierzbicki and Tatenda Mutetwa who defeated
Gryffin Minor and
Tyler Crook 7-5. On the singles side, sophomore
Andrew Nicolae made his first appearance of the trip, defeating Santiago Carbajal 6-3, 6-1. Sophomore and recent NEC Prime Performer
Gryffin Minor took a commanding 6-2, 7-5 win over Indrek Soome, marking his third singles win in a row.
The Knights return to action on March 20 when they head to West Long Branch to take on Monmouth. First serve is set for 3 pm at the Monmouth University Outdoor Tennis Complex.
