Knights Travel to Loretto, Pa. to Take on the Red Flash in Mid-Afternoon Match-Up

HACKENSACK, N.J. – The Knights will hit the road to take on Saint Francis U at Loretto, Pa. where they look to build on a three-game win streak. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT 
The Knights took on LIU in a home game that resulted in an 84-53 victory over the Sharks. Teneisia Brown led the Knights with season-high 21 points scored and was able to collect ten rebounds for FDU along with three steals and two blocks. The Burgundy and Blue continued to show their dominance on the floor as they shot 44.6% from the field and went 14-31 (45.2%) from three. The Knights were also able to capitalize on LIU's errors as 21 points were results of turnovers.

BALANCED SCORING
The Knights saw four of their players score in double-figures: Teneisia Brown (21), Lilly Parke (15), Staci Williams (12) and Abby Conklin (11). 

TEE TIME
Teneisia Brown logged her seventh double-double of the season in their game against LIU with 21 points and ten rebounds. 

BEHIND ENEMY LINES
The Red Flash enters this game with an overall record of 5-19 and sit 4-7 in conference play. In their last game, Saint Francis U came away victorious over Wagner by a score of 76-60. In their 24 games this season, LIU is averaging just under 53 points and 34 rebounds per game.

SCOUT'S CORNER 
The Red Flash has found steady production in Kendall Carruthers who averages just under 14 points per game.  The freshman guard is shooting 35.3% from the floor and is 43-138 (31.2%) from three. Marina Artero leads Saint Francis U with 129 rebounds and averages 5.4 per game.

MATCHUP HISTORY
The Knights have faced the Red Flash a total of 70 times, but Saint Francis U holds the series at 45-25. Last season the Knights swept the Red Flash. 

WHAT'S NEXT 
FDU will return home to take on Sacred Heart on February 22. The Thursday contest is set for a 7 p.m. tip-off in the Bogota Savings Bank Center in Hackensack, N.J. and will be streamed on NEC Front Row.
