ANNAPOLIS, MD - The FDU women's tennis team opened up their fall season this weekend, participating at the Bill & Sandra Moore Invitational hosted by Navy.
 
The Knights notched eleven wins, including five singles victories over opponents from George Mason, Lehigh, and St. Bonaventure, and six wins against Binghamton, Monmouth, Mary Washington, and Navy in doubles.
 
Sophomore Valentina Silva picked up four wins over the weekend, besting opponents from George Mason and St. Bonaventure in singles as well as a pair of wins with partner Mireia Turro in doubles.
