ENGLEWOOD, N.J. - Under the bright lights of the main stage at the Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) in Englewood, N.J., FDU Athletics celebrated the accomplishments of the Knights' 22 varsity teams and our more-than 300 student-athletes with the annual FDYS celebration. Hosted by athletic media relations graduate assistant
Charlie Carbonetto, the ceremony was held on Monday, May 1 and recognized student-athletes' efforts in the classrooms, in competition and in our community.
Also present during the ceremony were newly-named University President
Michael Avaltroni and Vice President for Enrollment Services Kenneth M. Schneider.

Tatijana Fucka, a newcomer on the banks of the Hackensack, was named the Harriet McCormick Female Athlete of the Year while men's basketball graduate student
Demetre Roberts and track and field junior
Salif Mane shared the Walter Marusyn Male Athlete of the Year honor.
