Teaneck, N.J.- In a highly anticipated match held in Teaneck, New Jersey, the Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) women's lacrosse team (0-6) took on Stonehill (1-5) on March 18th with each team looking for their first Division I win. Both teams delivered impressive performances throughout the game however, it was Stonehill who emerged victorious with a final score of 22-7.

1st quarter:
- Stonehill opened the game by scoring the first two goals within the first five minutes of play.
- FDU's Brielle McInaw responded with her 13th goal of the season, bringing the score to 2-1 in favor of Stonehill.
- Stonehill then scored two more goals to extend their lead to 4-1.
- Saige-Lyn Gidzinski scored for FDU from a free-position shot, recording her 8th goal of the season.
- Alyssa Perez scored back-to-back goals for FDU, tying the game at 4 with 2:40Â remaining in the first quarter.
- Stonehill scored three unanswered goals in the final two minutes of the period, bringing the score to 7-4 in their favor.
2nd quarter:
- Stonehill scored the first two goals of the quarter, extending their lead to 9-4.
- Ashley Brown scored her second goal of the season from a free position shot, reducing the deficit to 9-5.
- Stonehill quickly answered with a goal of their own, bringing the score to 10-5.
- McInaw scored her second goal of the game and 14th of the season, bringing the Knights within four.
- Stonehill quickly scored again, making the score 11-6 as the teams headed into halftime.
3rd quarter:
- Stonehill dominated the quarter, scoring all nine goals and extending their lead to 20-6.
4th quarter:
- Stonehill scored the first two goals of the period, bringing the score to 22-6.
- Brielle McInaw scored her third goal of the game in the final minute, recording her second hattrick in a row and bringing her season total to 15 goals.
