how it happened

The teams combined for 24 runs and 34 hits in the game with every pitcher allowing at least one run except for Ryan Bilka who closed our the game for the Seahawks. Wagner took a quick 4-0 lead in the first inning before Griffin Selby drove in the 'Hawks fifth run of the day. FDU began to cut into the lead in the 3rd inning when George Rosales homered and Nicholas Mazzotta singled home Brian Sanders to make the score 5-2.

The Knights drilled two home runs in the 5th and two in the 9th to tie the game and force the game into extra innings. Extra innings was just as eventful as the first nine when Wagner knocked home four runs to take an 11-7 lead heading into the bottom of the 10th.
