HACKENSACK, N.J.- The FDU men's volleyball (3-3, 0-1) team was swept by Saint Francis U (Pa.) (2-7, 1-0) in the inaugural NEC match on Friday night. After a tight first, the Red Flash were able to ride that momentum to more comfortable victories in the second and third sets.

Dylan McFadden tied a career high with 11 kills in the match. He hit at a stellar .455 clip on the night. Fellow freshman
Naveen Fernando also had a strong performance with six kills and two aces. Providing a spark off the bench,
Lorenzo Bonomo contributed with a season high six kills on 12 attacks.

Blake Liprando and Andrew Deardorff were the main source of FDU's problems throughout the match. Liprando had 10 kills and two aces, while Deardorff crushed 11 kills and had an ace himself. The two combined for 25 total points.
