HACKENSACK, N.J.- FDU (12-16,10-3) suffered a four-set loss at the hands of Saint Francis (PA) (14-10,9-4) at Stratis Arena on Friday evening (25-22,25-13,25-17,25-20). The loss snaps a nine-match conference winning streak for FDU.

How it Happened
Set 1
- FDU utilized a timely 5-2 run to grab the momentum and the first set lead at 17-14.
- FDU was able to extend the lead to five thanks to kills from Kylie Nott and Rebeka Fucka.
- The Knights held the Red Flash off and finished it 25-22.
Set 2
- Set two started out tight with the Red Flash holding a slim 10-9 lead.
- That changed quickly as the Red Flash exploded on a 15-3 run that gave them a commanding 24-12 advantage.
- Sofia Rampazzo extended the set by one point with a kill, but SFU closed it out on the very next point 25-13.
Set 3
- FDU again hung around early in the third set, trailing by just three at 13-10.
- In a flash, SFU seized every bit of momentum with a 9-4 run that put them ahead 22-14.
- FDU grabbed a few more points but were not able to mount a comeback as they dropped the third set 25-17.
Set 4
- The Knights jumped out to a 10-8 lead.
- The Red Flash responded with offensive firepower and stormed ahead at 15-13.
- FDU was able to tie the set at 19-19 and 20-20.
- SFU put the finishing touches on the match with a 5-0 run to solidify a fourth set win 25-20.
The Road Ahead
The Knights play their final regular season match and celebrate Senior Day at home tomorrow at Stratis Arena against Le Moyne at 5 p.m. FDU can clinch a share of the NEC Championship with a win.
