NEW YORK, N.Y. - FDU women's tennis took a quick trip across the Hudson to ITA Regionals this past weekend, hosted by Columbia University. The Knights saw tough competition on the first two days, leading to an early exit.
Junior
Namie Isago had a very impressive start, downing a seeded Hoi Ki Jenny Wong of Cornell before losing to Jessie Zheng of Temple in the round of 64. On the doubles side, it was a tough weekend for the knights with
Namie Isago and
Anastasia Lim losing in the first round to competition from Rutgers, and two other doubles pairs unable to complete their matches.

FDU looks ahead to their final fall matchup, the Hofstra Invitational, taking place in Hempstead, N.Y. on October 14-15
th. The weekend's events will take place at the Hofstra University Outdoor Tennis Center, beginning at 9 a.m.
