WEST ORANGE, N.J.- The Knights wrapped up their fall season on Tuesday at the Metropolitan Intercollegiate. FDU finished tied for 3
rd in a field of 11 teams at Montclair Golf Club.
As a team, FDU (+41) posted rounds of 298 and 303 in the 36-hole event to keep them in contention at the top of the leaderboard. The Knights finished just two shots back of St. Peter's (+39), who took the team title.
For the second-consecutive week, the Knights starting five consisted of four freshmen. This time
James Howell (+3) put together two steady rounds of golf for a 2
nd place finish, just one shot back of Thomas Choi from Wagner, who won the tournament. Howell connected on four birdies and saved 25 pars.
