Statement From NEC Commissioner Noreen Morris on Sacred Heart and Merrimack

With a high level of disappointment, the Northeast Conference acknowledges the end of our partnership with Sacred Heart University and Merrimack College.

Despite their departure, we remain steadfast in shaping the future of the conference. The NEC Council of Presidents continues to be actively engaged in discussions regarding membership expansion, and we are focused on the prospects that lie ahead.

Change can be challenging, but it also opens doors to new opportunities, and we are committed to forging a strong and promising future for the Northeast Conference.
