FAIRFIELD, CONN. – The Knights (13-4, 5-0) are back in action tomorrow afternoon at 2 p.m. as they take on Sacred Heart (7-10, 4-1). The Knights have won the last five matchups against the Pioneers, including last season in the quarterfinals when FDU won 66-58. Saturday's matchup will take place at the William H. Pitt Center and can be watched on NEC Front Row.
 
 
FDU hosted St. Francis on Thursday night in a matchup that was never close. The Burgundy and Blue won 70-39. The Knights drilled 14 three-pointers on 27 attempts. FDU shot a higher percentage from the three-point line than they did from the charity stripe; 51% to 50%. The team got a balanced scoring attack with two players scoring 15+ points. 
Sierra DeAngelo led the attack with 16 points and 
Abby Conklin pitched in 15 points off the bench on a perfect 5-for-5 night from deep. Madeline Slevaggi and 
Miranda Elebring led the team with six rebounds on the night.
 
	- Wilson leads the Knights with 15.2 points a night and 6.4 rebounds. She has picked up three double-doubles on the season
 
	- Senior DeAngelo has had a solid season scoring 11.3 points a night on a team-leading 45.6% shooting from the field
 
	- Guard Madeline Selvaggi is second on the team in rebounds per game with 5.5
 
	- The Pioneers are 7-10 on the year, but have had a solid start to conference play with a 4-1 record
 
	- Sacred Heart gets almost 28 points a night from their starting backcourt
 
	- Guard Ny'Ceara Pryor is a player to watch for the Pioneers, she is averaging 17.5 points a game
 
	- Head coach Jessica Mannetti is in her 10th season at the helm for Sacred Heart
