HACKENSACK, N.J. – FDU (11-4, 3-0) has a quick turnaround from Saturday's conference win over CCSU as they are back in action on Monday, January 16 on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The Knights and the Skyhawks (5-12, 1-3) will be wearing pregame warm-up shirts in honor of Dr. King. Monday's showdown will take place at Stratis Arena inside the Rothman Center at 2 p.m. Fans can watch and cheer for the Knights on NEC Front Row.
The Knights are one of five teams in Division I basketball to be undefeated in conference play for their men's and women's teams. The men have started 4-0 and the women 3-0. Both teams are back in action Monday versus Stonehill.
The Knights defended their home court and defeated CCSU on Saturday 59-53. The typically sure-handed Knights struggled turning the ball over against the Blue Devils as they turned the ball over 17 times. They overcame the turnovers by dominating CCSU on the glass and drilling timely three-pointers.

Celia Carbonell led the Knights with 27 combined points as they shot 7-for-13 from three-point land. Senior captain
Sierra DeAngelo had a quality performance as she scored 14 points which included two huge threes in the fourth quarter to expand the Knights lead, she also pitched in seven rebounds.
- Fifth-year Madeline Selvaggi has been stuffing the stat sheet as of late averaging 7.2 rebounds and four rebounds a game for the last five contests
- Chloe Wilson has been the leading scorer and rebounder for the Knights and leads the team with two double-doubles on the season
- Freshman Fajardo made her first collegiate start last time out and she showed out with 15 points on 5-for-8 shooting.
- The Sky Hawks are 5-12 on the year. Three of their wins have come away from Paula Sullivan Court
- Stonehill gets a big scoring boost from their backcourt which consists of two fifth-year guards
- Guard Emily Bramanti is a player to watch for the Sky Hawks. She is averaging 15.1 points a contest on 42.9% shooting from the field
- Head coach Trisha Brown is in her 22nd season at the helm at Stonehill
