BROOKVILLE, N.Y. -The Fairleigh Dickinson baseball team (21-28, 16-8 NEC) was unable to break through against LIU (31-17, 13-11 NEC) on Sunday, falling 5-2 at LIU Baseball Stadium in the last game of the weekend series.
How it happened
- George Rosales opened the scoring for FDU with a solo home run to left field in the top of the first inning.
- LIU scored on an RBI single through the left side in the bottom of the second to tie the game at 1-1.
- The Sharks took the lead in the bottom of the third with a three-run home run and a solo home run, making the score 5-1.
- Hunter D'Amato scored on a balk in the top of the sixth inning.
- FDU finished the game with four hits, two runs, and two errors.

- Joey Kosowsky (5-4) took the loss with four earned runs and two strikeouts in 2.2 innings.
- Rosales went 1-3 with one RBI, a home run, and a walk.
- D'Amato went 1-3 with a run and a walk.
