The Knights will travel to Charlotte on a 6-14 record, most recently picking up a five-set loss at LIU earlier this month. After dropping the initial two sets, FDU rallied to dominate in sets three and four, ultimately falling as both teams hit over a 43 percent average in the final set. Freshman Artem Vetrov led the Knights in the tight battle, recording his first career double-double with 14 kills and 10 digs.

It is Vetrov and freshman Jack Lydon who continue to lead the Knights, logging a combined 6.51 average points per set. Lydon currently ranks in the top 50 in the nation for average kills per set, posting a career-high 17 kills at American International along with a pair of double-doubles on the season.

As a freshman, Hoffman has continued to lead the nation in digs, currently ranking third with an average 2.72 receptions per set. With an average 7.43 assists per set, Fernandes has also secured a spot on the NCAA leaderboard to rank in the top 50 for assists and digs per set.
