TEANECK, N.J. - Fairleigh Dickinson men's tennis (7-11, 3-3 NEC) celebrated Senior Day with a 6-1 home victory against Wagner (2-10, 0-4 NEC) on Sunday afternoon at the FDU Tennis Courts.
The Knights recognized their three seniors, Moric Budinszky, Niclas Pietsch, and Taiga Koyama, prior to the opening serve of their last season match. The Knights conquered the doubles point and won five singles matches to rally past Bryant.
In doubles, sophomore Arjun Sriram and graduate student Moric Budinszky fought to secure a win, defeating Wagner's Karan Venkatramana and Lucas Darling, 6-2. Also gaining a doubles win was sophomore Younes Adnane and freshman Justas Trainauskas, as they defeated Rodrigo Perez and Odeda Arazza, 6-4. Rounding out doubles play was seniors Mehdi Dhouib and Niclas Pietsch, who battled Wagner's Tejasvi Mehra and Omar Loufty to win 6-5 (4).
FDU started with a bang in singles action with three straight wins. Trainauskas took court No. 2 and got a win, knocking off Perez, 6-0, 6-1. Adnane faced Darling and won, 6-2, 6-4. Dhouib sealed the win for the Knights as he dominated the Seahawks' Mehra, 6-2, 6-3. Pietsch dropped his match in the No. 4 spot to Loufy in a super tiebreaker, 6-2, 3-6, (4-10). Sriram and Budinszky finished their day with victories in singles play.

The Burgundy and Blue are set to travel to the NEC Tournament next week, April 13-16.
