HARRISONBURG, VA. - The Fairleigh Dickinson baseball team (1-4, 0-0 NEC) was unable to hold off James Madison (2-3, 0-0 CAA) in its first game of the series on Friday, falling 12-2 at Veterans Memorial Park.

How it happened
Joan Sosa and TJ Werner each tallied one hit, while William Pope, had a pair of knocks. Sosa delivered a solid start scoring the first run of the game on a bunt single from Werner after he singled, stole second and then moved to third on a wild pitch. The Dukes responded with three runs in the bottom of the first and took the lead from there adding three more runs in the fourth and four in the fifth.
In the top of the seventh, Pope singled to left field bringing in Matthew Milone for the second and final run for the Knights to make the final score 12-2.
