CHARLESTON, S.C. -The Fairleigh Dickinson baseball team (0-2, 0-0 NEC) suffered an 11-7 setback in game two of its three-game series at The Citadel (2-0, 0-0 SoCon).

How it Happened
- Medoro started the game for the Knights, F. Paulsen started for the Bulldogs.
- The Citadel took the lead early, with two runs in the first inning.
- Romeo replaced Medoro on the mound for the Knights in the bottom of the second. The Bulldogs added to their lead five more runs to stake a 7-0 after two innings.
- Timko entered the game for FDU in the bottom of the third, the Bulldogs hit a single to right field and allowed The Citadel to score.
- Trailing 8-0 starting the fourth, the Knights sliced the deficit in half with four runs in four hits leaving three on base. Mattioli entered the game for FDU to end the inning.
- Tom Spiwak replaced Mattioli in the bottom of the fifth and The Citadel extended its lead to 9-4.
- In the seventh, the Burgundy and Blue responded with a run of their own. The Bulldogs had runners on second and third after a double, and then a pair of singles to left field drove in the last two runs for The Citadel. Simon finished on the mound for the Knights.
- Ruscitti blasted a solo home run to left field in the eighth, his first of the season.
- Sosa singled to left field driving home Sierra in the ninth, concluding the game with a 7-11 loss.
