SOMERSET, N.J. - Due to COVID-19 protocols, the Fairleigh Dickinson men's basketball team's Northeast Conference games against Merrimack, scheduled for Thursday, January 6, and Bryant on Saturday, January 8, have been cancelled. Both contests were scheduled to be played at Stratis Arena inside the Rothman Center.
Per the NEC's COVID-19 forfeit and cancellation policy, FDU will be assigned a loss in the league standings for each of the two games giving the Knights a 2-2 record in-conference. The COVID-19 related forfeits do not impact the team's overall wins-loss record according to NCAA policy.
The Burgundy and Blue return to action on Saturday, January 15, when the Knights head to Sacred Heart at 2 p.m. followed by a trip to Wagner on Staten Island on Monday, January 17, at 7 p.m. with both games airing live on NEC Front Row.
