Freshman Megan Bushnell contributed to the Knight's cause with a career-high 29 assists and three service aces. Freshman Omayra Valle recorded her first points as a Knight with two aces of her own.

FDU came out hot with an 8-3 lead off back-to-back kills by senior Brooke Stevens. The Knights continued the hot streak, securing the set 25-17 and holding Siena to a -.091 clip.

Set two was a back-and-forth affair, with neither team holding more than a three-point lead. Stingl and Christie paced the Knights through the set, each depositing five kills to drop the Saints 25-22.

With the third set tied 4-4, a series of kills off assists by Bushnell put FDU in control. The Knights refused to let up, depositing 13 kills for a .370 clip to defeat the Saints 25-17.
Next Up
The Knights return to play on Friday where they will travel to Providence, R.I. to face Binghamton at 4:30 p.m. in the Friar Classic. Also set to compete are Saint Peter's and host-school Providence College.
