Coach Foye's Thoughts
"I loved the energy in the last inning of game two and I felt the momentum swung in our favor. I give credit to the girls for battling and getting the tying and winning run on base unfortunately we just couldn't pull it out."

"Alayna was amazing today. She only gave up 1 hit and had 11 strikeouts but unfortunately we couldn't push across enough runs to get her the win she deserved. Courtney made a huge impact with a big hit in the first game and with her defense in the outfield. Her diving and sliding catches gave us some momentum and energy to keep us in the games. Cassidy had some hard hits and was seeing the ball well today and she had a great at bat that led to a key walk to load the bases when we were rallying in the bottom of the 7th."

What's Next
The Knights will welcome Mount St. Mary's to the FDU Softball Field for a weekend series beginning on Saturday, April 10 at 1:00 p.m.
