Brookville, N.Y. - The FDU Knights baseball team (3-10, 2-6) was defeated by LIU (7-4, 5-3) 14-5 on Friday afternoon.

How It Happened

• LIU jumped out to a big lead early in the game with an eight-run second inning
• FDU was able to cut into the deficit in the third inning, responding with three runs
• LIU would score a run in each of the next three innings to keep the Knights from gaining momentum
